Rules of Thumb:

No drastic changes.
Maintain humidity (about 70%-80% relative humidity).
Maintain a good temperatue (around 75).
Keep plenty of food and water in cage (NO chlorine in water!).
Bathe crabs regularly.
Nice substrate for digging in (sand is good. for gravel: make sure it's polished).
Extra shells for crabs to upgrade to.
Stuff for crabs to play with and not get bored.
A cage that isnt too small. Crabs like to roam around a lot.
Make sure water dish isnt so deep that crabs can drown in.
Keep food, water dishes, sponges, etc. clean.
Use a natural sponge in water bowls to help humidify.
